When you get Windows 7 from the Microsoft Store, it gives you the option to download an ISO file or compressed files. Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool allows you to create a copy of the ISO file on a USB or DVD.
The ISO file contains all the Windows 7 installation files combined in single one compressed. When we download the ISO, we need to copy it in any medium to be able to install Windows 7. To install it from the USB or DVD, we need to find the Setup.exe file on the chosen device and run the file.
The conditions of Windows 7 license, once accepted, only allow making one copy of the software as backup, for a system reinstallation, in case you need one.
